Canopies on Courtland is the business expo at Taste of Park Ridge.   Our city’s Chamber of Commerce sponsors the expo and I had a booth representing Affordable Interiors.   With gorgeous weather and promise of a good time the crowds came to eat and explore.   Our canopies bordered Hodges Park that buzzed with children’s activities.   If you were there, thanks for stopping by.  If not, plan to come next year.  It’s a don’t-miss-it event.

It’s all in the presentation, right?  Decorating and design are forms of art, and artful presentation in food goes along with a beautiful setting in your home.  The potato gratin I brought to our neighbor’s picnic was a hit.  It is simple and looks lovely when coming out of the oven.  Give it a try and let me know what you think:
